Shawn Young is a digital artist and fine art printer living and working in downtown York, Pennsylvania (USA). Along with his partner Daniel G. Walczyk, he is a resident artist and co-owner at Vulcania Graphics & Fine Art which specializes in fine art photography and reproduction (giclée) printing. Shawn started working in large format printing and digital imaging in 1997. He has explored several digital art mediums including photography, digital painting and 3D virtual environments (Second Life). Recently he has been creating digital augmented reality artwork which can be viewed in the Instagram mobile app. His 2D artwork has been featured on the cover of the magazine Faith Initiative (UK) and displayed at the Arts & Mobiles 2014 digital art symposium at the National Institute for Art History (INHA) in Paris, France. He uses an iMac, iPad Pro and iPhone with creative apps including Blender, Reality Composer, Adobe Photoshop, Spark AR and Procreate.
