May 7th hunger fun run and walkathon supporting programs and services of JFS of York and the Northeast Neighborhood Association Food Bank.
Join us for a fun run and walk, refreshments, door prizes, and children’s activities as we fight hunger in the York area at our 16th Annual Hustle 4 Hunger Fun Run & Walkathon May 7th at Springettsbury Park. This fun family focused event is open to all ages. Register by April 15th at www.Hustle4HungerYork.org to receive a T-Shirt and door prize entry.
“12.5% of York residents are going hungry daily, and 18.5% of whom include children going without a meal. We are responsible for each other and therefore called to respond to this need right here in York” stated Carol Miller, JFS Program Director. The JFS Project Manna program provides supplemental groceries and guidance to access benefits and services to individuals and families throughout York. Our sister agency, the Northeast Neighborhood Food Bank provides food, clothing, and support to some of the most food insecure in York County.
