Do you have an idea that will invigorate downtown York? Share it with YorIt, and compete for up to $20,000 in grant money to make it a reality. Attend our info session on 10/12 at Central Market York to get the details and ask questions! Letters of Intent are due by 5:00 p.m. on November 15, 2017.
Through the YorIt Social Venture Challenge, we support emerging socially-minded organizations that add to the vitality of York. Half of the funds raised through memberships go toward creating a YorIt endowment and half go toward the Social Venture Challenge grant program. Members play an active role in the grantmaking process by making connections, soliciting ideas, interviewing applicants, all culminating in a live pitch event where members vote on the project that means the most to them. We can grant up to $20,000 to the idea or startup that makes York an exciting place to be.
