York County Libraries asks library members of all ages to read and log at least 500 minutes of reading time in the month of January 2021.
From January 1st to January 31st, York County Libraries will participate in Beanstack’s Fourth Annual Winter Reading Challenge, “Book Like Us,” sponsored by Simon and Schuster (S&S). We challenge our members to read at least 500 minutes during the month and keep track of their reading on our Beanstack site at yorklibraries.beanstack.org. Thousands of libraries and schools across the nation will encourage their communities to read a target number of minutes and books.
To help us reach our community goal of 400,000 minutes, please be sure to track your reading time on the Beanstack app. Prizes will include book collections and virtual author visits. Ten (10) winning schools or libraries will each get a collection of fifty (50) books from the “Books Like Us” collection. What an enjoyable way to support York County Libraries!!!
