Art teachers at 10 area schools are sharing work by their best students. Come see what the future of art looks like!
Artwork from 10 area schools is on display today at Art Downtown for the 37th Annual School Student Show.
Each school displays approximately 20 pieces of its best work — paintings, drawings and 3-D sculpture. Sixth-graders to high school seniors are involved in the show, a favorite of members of the Hanover Area Arts Guild, which sponsors the event.
The exhibit can be seen during regular gallery hours — 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. The gallery is always free.
A reception is planned for students, families and the community 1-3 p.m. Sunday, March 11, to celebrate the show.
