On October 28, 2020, ALLVETS will welcome Bryce Lefever who will speak about his experiences in the Navy. Dr. Bryce Lefever is a recently retired Naval Officer and a Board Certified clinical psychologist. He is a recognized expert on the psychology of captivity, the ethics of interrogation, and the treatment of trauma and prevention of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. If you are unable to attend in person, this program will also be live-streamed through Facebook (publicly accessible, no Facebook account needed). We remind our visitors of the following:

We require visitors, staff, volunteers, contractors and others to wear masks while on site.
Contact-less temperature checks will also be administered to all staff, volunteers and guests upon arrival.
We will clean and sanitize high-touch, high-traffic areas, with deep cleaning when the building is closed.  We encourage use of our sanitizing stations when necessary.
If you are feeling ill, please do not come on site.

The ALLVETS meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm at the Historical Society Museum, 250 E. Market St., York. Occasionally, special round tables are held on Saturdays. No programs are held in November or December.

ALLVETS is a non-profit organization, founded in 2015 by the late Jim Bean, a Vietnam veteran, to collect the stories of local veterans. Each month a different veteran from any branch of the military who served in any capacity shares his or her story about their service to our country.  All veterans are welcome to participate, regardless of branch of service, rank, peace-time or war-time service, or role in the military.  Meetings are FREE and open to the public.  Veterans wishing to speak at the Roundtable should contact ALLVETS at AllVets1York@gmail.com to schedule a session.
