The White Rose Chorus demonstrates the great American artform of 4-part barbershop harmony.
Just what is this barbershop thing anyway? The White Rose Chorus has been performing in the barbershop style in the York area since 1945. We will demonstrate what makes barbershop harmony the a capella style that the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America has been preserving as a great American art form for future generations of singers. Listen to those 4 part chords “ring” and experience that barbershop sound. You will even get a chance to sing along to a short barbershop “tag” that we will teach on the spot.
