Understanding the color wheel is an important skill for young artists to learn! In this class, child and adult pairs are led step-by-step through painting their very own color wheel flower. Skillfully mix primary, secondary, and tertiary colors using watercolor paints in order to create each beautiful petal! Not only is this a great introduction to color mixing, but it’s also a great way to get creative together!
One registration for this class covers one child and one adult. Child and adult pairs join the classroom via Zoom and may choose to collaborate on one piece together or work on their own artwork side-by-side. Students can provide their own supplies or purchase an art supply kit from Creative York. Required supplies include watercolor paper, a watercolor set with brushes, and a pencil and eraser. Registration and art supply kit orders close a week before class begins.
