Battle of Hanover Event Commemoration

You are invited to attend a full day of events to commemorate the Battle of Hanover and celebrate the launch of the Heart of Hanover Trails.

You are invited to attend an day of events to commemorate the Battle of Hanover and celebrate the launch of the Heart of Hanover Trails.  The trails consist of 20 new historic wayside markers and other important historic assets in Hanover that will tell our stories and invite visitors learn about our community. All Events will be held at the Guthrie Memorial Library, 2 Library Place, Hanover, PA unless otherwise noted.

11:00am Historian and Author Talk – Scott Mingus, Sr.: Southwestern York County During The Civil War -talk held in Library’s Bare Center
11:45am Book Signings and Q&A with Author
Noon Lunch on your own
1pm Official Ribbon Cutting and Launch of Heart of Hanover Trail
1:30pm Walking Tour led by Dr. Marc Charisse and Matthew Jackson, takes pedestrians to each stop on The Heart of Hanover Trail
