Creative York presents “Beautiful Death” for the June exhibit at our Creative York West location. The call for art sought out imagery that celebrates death as a part of life, portrays the elements of death in a beautiful way, or looks at the subject of death in other positive ways.
This exhibit is inspired by the Death Positive Movement, Death Cafe, and The Order of The Good Death, all of which seek to view death in a positive way, and to encourage open conversations about this often seemingly taboo subject. Lean more here: http://www.talkdeath.com/death-positive-movement/
Join us for the Opening Reception at Creative York West on Thursday, May 31 from 5-7pm to be among the first to see the exhibit. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
