July 4th Worship Service & Patriotic Concert

On Monday, July 4th at 10:00 AM, St. John Episcopal Church, 140 North Beaver Street, York, will celebrate Holy Communion using the 1789 Book of Common Prayer.  St. John has a proud heritage that dates back to the early days of our nation.  This year during the service, First Capital Brass will be providing patriotic music.  At the conclusion of the service, the brass ensemble will also present a short concert of patriotic songs.  Lastly, we shall give thanks for all the brave men and women who founded this nation and fought to preserve the freedoms we enjoy as Americans today.  The Liberty Bell, located at the back of the church building, will be rung and then as participants leave they are invited the ring the Liberty Bell.  Light refreshments will follow the concert.  Please plan to join us for this very special celebration.  Parking is available in the lot across the street from the church.
