Easter Luncheon

On Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016, St. John Episcopal Church will host a free Easter Luncheon for individuals & families in the York area who otherwise might not have the opportunity to celebrate the Easter holiday with a good, hot meal.  The luncheon is open to everyone, especially those who may be shelter-bound, homeless or living alone.

The luncheon will be served in the Parish Hall from 12:30 PM through 2 PM & will feature ham with all the fixings, beverages, desserts and special Easter treats for the children.

In an effort to say a special thank you to the wonderful people who keep us safe on a daily basis, all members of any York city or country emergency response team, ambulance team, police force or fire department are also cordially invited to attend.

For those on duty emergency and law enforcement personnel wishing to take advantage of this great meal, a “phone-in-for-pick up” service is available.  Orders for pick-up on Easter can be placed now by calling (717) 848-1862, Kris at ext. 6, between 9 AM and 5 PM through Thursday, March 24.  Orders will also be accepted after Thursday, March 24 after 5 PM through Easter Sunday until 1 PM at (717) 577-5470.
