Fall Foliage Train Rides

Rail fans and leaf peepers: Are you looking for a stunning way to see all the bright colors the fall season has to offer? Why not view Mother Nature’s autumn splendor by rail. Fall foliage trains on the Ma & Pa Railroad will run from Noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays, October 13 and 20, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays, October 14 and 22. Excursions run hourly and are $7 for adults and $5 for children. Recent flooding devastated parts of the north end of the rail line. In response, a crew of Society volunteers spent a full week doing track repair work to prepare to run October trains south of the Muddy Creek Forks station. This opens up the opportunity to ride a beautiful section of the rail line that has not been seen in public operations for more than a decade.
