Rail fans and leaf peepers: Are you looking for a stunning way to see all the bright colors the fall season has to offer?
This year the Ma & Pa Railroad Preservation Society offers four dates spanning two weekends to enjoy a motor car train ride while seeing autumn’s splendor in the southeastern York County countryside. Dates include: Saturday, October 17 and 24 from Noon to 4 pm and Sunday, October 18 and 25 from 1 pm to 5 pm. Trains depart Muddy Creek Forks hourly at quarter after each hour. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for children 3-12, and free for children under 3. These special seasonal rides are quite popular and often sell out. Due to COVID restrictions trains are limited to half capacity, so advance ticket purchase is recommended. Tickets can be purchased online at www.MaAndPaRailroad.com.
