If you are you looking for a stunning way to see all the bright colors the fall season has to offer, the Ma & Pa Railroad has the perfect solution. Why not view Mother Nature’s autumn splendor by rail aboard a motorcar train ride? This season, the Ma & Pa Railroad Preservation Society offers four dates over two weekends for rail fans and leaf peepers alike to enjoy a train ride while seeing autumn’s grandeur in the southeastern York County countryside.
The fall foliage trains run from Noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 23 and 30 and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays, October 24 and 31. These special autumnal rides are quite popular and often sell out. Excursions run hourly and are $10 for adults and $7 for children 3-12.
