First Capital Brass - Independence Day Historic Worship Service

First Capital Brass picture

Please join us for our annual Community Independence Day Service featuring York’s own First Capital Brass.

Our annual Community Independence Day Service liturgy will be read from the 1789 Book of Common Prayer, as heard by our founding fathers. York’s own First Capital Brass will present patriotic music during and following the service in tribute to those who sacrificed to establish and preserve the union.

York’s Liberty Bell, which was donated to the parish by England’s Queen Caroline in 1773, will be rung in honor of the original colonies. Light refreshments will be served following the service. Free admission. A free will offering will be received.
