First Friday at Martin Library: Meet the Author

Don’t miss Martin Library’s First Friday event on September 1 from 5-7pm, featuring local children’s author Debra Tanguy Herlocker.

The doors will open at 5pm. From 5-7pm, family-friendly crafts, games, and activities will be available for participation in portions of Martin’s 1st and 2nd floors. Bring yourself, your friends, or your family, and make a caterpillar turn into a butterfly, play a caterpillar game, or just browse!

5:30pm: Meet Debra Tanguy Herlocker, the author of Caitlyn’s Adventure and Who Kidnapped Sheb Woolly?, which are children’s picture books that follow a curious and compassionate caterpillar named Caitlyn. Debra will be available to answer questions about the books and her writing process and of course, for book signings. You’ll also get treated to Debra’s enthusiastic storytelling as she reads you some of Caitlyn’s tales.
