First Friday Open House and Walking Tours

Give Local York, York County’s 24-hour day of online giving, returns this year as a two-day event May 4-5. The giving starts at 9 p.m. May 4 and runs through 9 p.m. May 5. May 5 is a First Friday, and our popular walking tours of downtown will include the first chance for the public to stop outside our new — and still-under-construction — History Center museum at the former Met-Ed steam plant. We’ll also have free admission for all museum sites from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, as well as free tours at the Colonial Complex sites at 11 a.m. and 1 and 3 p.m. and fun at Colonial during First Friday hours until 8 p.m.
