Fun Day @ Penn Park

The purpose of this event is to celebrate and reinforce the spirit of community and to expose our children to the joy of horses by hosting an event to give back to our children. Our goal is to give away electronic tablets/notebooks and bicycles for high school-age children and younger and grants for books for young adults that are college-bound or already attending college. The recipients of these awards will be chosen by lottery/raffle drawings.  To ensure no child is left out; consolation prizes will be given to children who do not receive an award.  Admission and lottery/raffle tickets are free.

There will be pony rides, games (tug of war, sack races, etc.), food trucks, and fun.  Community health providers will be in attendance for screenings (high blood pressure, diabetes, Covid, and other health issues), as well as the Police, Sheriff, and Fire departments to share information on safety, prevention, and careers.  Rain Date 8/26/22.
