Gusa World Music Festival

Gusa by Victoria presents it’s inaugural Gusa World Music Festival ! Since it’s inception, Gusa by Victoria, a women’s clothing retail store, has evolved into a cultural hotspot for all things Kenya and the African continent as a whole. Victoria Kageni-Woodard, the owner of this shop, is a native of Kenya and is committed to educating the community about her cultural heritage through different mediums of art including music. It is in this same spirit that Gusa World Music Fest was brought into fruition. A host of local bands will be joined by two international musical guests from Kenya and the Congo during this two day event. Vendors representing different countries of the continent will also be on hand bringing with them a variety of items for the community’s shopping convenience. Participating musicians will be unveiled in the coming weeks. More information will be shared as it becomes available. According to CBS news, York city was named as one of the top offbeat destinations of 2018. Our mission is to add to all the good that is celebrated about the city. Gusa World Music Fest celebrates the diverse community members that make up the White Rose city.
