History Makers is a Saturday workshop for children ages 6 and up.
During each session families will explore an exhibit or object in the museum and do a hands-on activity that connects products made in York and the people who made them.
March- We’ll explore our three story grist mill, learn about millers and make bread in a bag to bake at home.
April- We’ll explore the printshop and then make our own block to print.
May- We’ll explore the new Pfaltzgraff exhibit and make our own pinch pot.
June- We’ll take a look at a Rudy Brother’s stained glass window, explore the science behind stained glass a make a kaleidoscope.
July- We will explore wind power and make a kite.
ADMISSION INFO
$6 per child. Includes admission to the Agricultural and Industrial Museum.
