The Inspire Big Band is born out of the Inspire Studio of the Arts, York’s premiere studio for jazz education and performance. The IBB is a seventeen piece traditional big band made up of professional musicians from throughout Central Pennsylvania.
The Inspire Big Band will be playing selections from artists and arrangers of the past and the present. Music from famous jazz musicians like Count Basie, Maynard Ferguson, Thad Jones, Buddy Rich, and Stan Kenton to name a few. Arrangers such as Alan Baylock, Sammy Nestico, Bill Holman, Kris Berg, Rick Hirsch, and Tom Kubis will be featured in the concert. The second set will feature various Christmas jazz selections and medleys to celebrate the holiday season.
Our band includes notable jazz musicians Craig Kenney, Dave Shultz, Jeff Stabley and Wayne Fox are a few of the noted professional jazz players.
For a fun filled night of jazz standards, originals, improvisation, and Christmas jazz, come to Heritage Hills Resort in York, PA. and the “Christmas Jazz Jam”.

We are pleased to announce the Dallastown High School Jazz Band, under the direction of Justin Buer will be opening for the evening with a 7:00 pm downbeat.
Seating is general admission and is organized with rounder tables and ten seats per table. There will be an open cash bar available from 7:30 – 9:30 pm and a variety of hors’ d’oeuvres and food displays. Outside food will not be allowed in the facility, no exception. We ask that a determined donation be offered to help the band cover the cost of the food.
There will be a maximum number allowed to attend this event due to the size of the ballroom. It is recommended that preordering tickets before the day of the event might be a good idea. Once the max is reached, we cannot allow any more entrants.
