 Join Lisa Ditty of LPDstudios for this Stamped Leather Bracelet Workshop. We will be exploring surface design on leather.  You will design and make three of your very own single or double wrap leather bracelets.  Lisa will be teaching you the basic skills of working in leather from cutting, punching to stamping.  We will finish up by painting and highlighting this whimsical piece of jewelry.  So, start pinning and collecting your magazine tear sheets for inspiration, because at the end of this class, you will be modeling your own design! Closed toed shoes recommended and don’t forget your reading glasses, if needed.
Materials fee of $15 due to instructor at class.

Instructor Info:
Designer maker, Lisa Parmer Ditty loves feeling the connection to her materials, leather and metal.  The colors, shapes, and textures of leather have unlimited possibilities, but the “rules” of metalsmithing force her to think outside the design box.  Lisa loves incorporating modern techniques with old world skills when designing her whimsical LPDstudios collection of leather handbags, leather and metal jewelry, belts, buckles, and even pet gifts.  Coming from the fashion industry where everything is massed produced, it is very important to her that you can still see the “hand” in all her pieces, this is a dominant theme throughout her work
Inclement Weather and Cancellation:
In the chance of inclement weather or low enrollment, we may reschedule/cancel and notify you via email prior to the event.   In the event you cannot make the rescheduled event or cancellation, you’ll be issued a credit towards a future Watchmaker’s Daughter workshop.

The studio space is only accessed by stairs and is not wheelchair accessible. And there are three great parking lots within walking distance—listed below, beginning with closest in proximity, and street parking is available.
