No experience? No problem.

You will be engaged in the traditional art of letterpress, a form of design expression that has become relevant again as an alternative method. This workshop will challenge you to consider analog creative typographic elements. You will discover what is old is new again.

The hands-on workshop covers all the basics of letterpress printing. Attendees will learn first-hand how to set wood printing type, learn how to print using our shop presses and how to work safely in the studio. The majority of the workshop consists of sifting through C&RP’s vast collection of 100-year-old wood type and other letterpress things to create and print beautiful form.
