The Ma & Pa Railroad Heritage Village returns for their 25th season with a full schedule of events, including every Sunday from June 4 through September 3. Motorcar train rides will be operating hourly, between 1 pm and 5 pm, through the Muddy Creek Valley. This summer season features a half dozen special events designed to inform and entertain visitors of all ages. These include Mid-Atlantic Milling Days – June 10 and 11; Have it Made Here Tours – June 16-18; a new July 2 Ice Cream Social and Teddy Bear picnic; Civil War Encampment – July 23; Early American Autos – August 6; and a World War II Encampment – August 26 and 27.
Special events later in the year include a Murder Mystery evening dinner and moonlight train ride September 9; Railroad Heritage Day Saturday, September 30; Pumpkin Patch excursions October 7 and 8; World War I encampment October 14 and 15; Fall foliage excursions October 21. 22, 28 and 29 and the popular Christmas City Express programs the first three weekends in December.
