Join Crispus Attucks in honoring MLK by enjoying local entertainment, breakfast, and service to our community. Doors open at 7:30 on Jan 16.
Crispus Attucks Association announces their 35th Annual MLK Day of Service, this year’s theme is “Engage York: Love Builds Community.”
Crispus Attucks invites community members to come for entertainment from Friendship Baptist Church’s Chozen Mime Ministry, Calvin Fountain III and Koby Evans, and the South Side Steppers Drill Team. Crispus Attucks will also recognize a local York City youth who continues Dr. King’s legacy by demonstrating service and responsibility with the Living the Dream award. Breakfast will be provided to all visitors.
Attendees will have the opportunity to honor the work and life of Dr. King through volunteering with the community organizations below. Volunteers are encouraged to register at http://bit.ly/CAMLK17 to ensure they can participate in their preferred project.
