Muddy Run Powwow is sharing the Native American Culture with the community.
While attending our Muddy Run Powwow. The public will be introduced to our Native American Culture. It is our goal and desire of Lawilowan American Indian Festival Inc. to teach anyone who attends our Powwows something about our Culture through dancing, drumming, Music, crafts, and stories.
These several things represent how we tell our stories from the past. It is also a way to carry our stories and Culture to the future, especially by teaching the children. Native Americans dance to show the important stories of their history and religion. They also danced to celebrate harvest, war, success, marriage and other celebrations.
