Muggle History Summer Family Workshop Series- Pottery

Presented by York County History Center at Agricultural and Industrial Museum, York PA

Muggle History Summer Family Workshop Series- Pottery

Get hands-on with our history and discover some surprising connections to the wizarding world.

Workshops are designed for the whole family to learn and create together. When registering, be sure to register all participants, children and adults, who will be completing a project. We encourage everyone to participate!

From redware made for personal use during early settlement to the international Pfaltzgraff company, pottery has been a big part of York County history. Families can learn a bit about our history of working in clay, then create their own clay project (with a Harry Potter twist).

Instructor: The York County History Center’s own Christine Cooper  will share some of the early history of pottery, and then let participants use their imagination to create using clay.
