Penn-Mar Irish Festival participating in Give Local York

York bagpiper Rodney Yeaple will donate a bagpipe performance to donors who contribute $250 to Penn-Mar Irish Festival (voucher will be good for one year, anywhere in York County) – 4 opportunities available.

9 a.m. to 7 p.m. – Dine-Out at The Markets at Shrewsbury

10% of sales on May 4 will be donated to the Penn-Mar Irish Festival by Bricker’s Fries and That Pig Place

12 noon to 5 p.m. — Continental Square

Chat with Sinead Moss of Irish Lass Glass to learn about the history and meaning of Celtic knots. She’ll also give you a name tag with your Irish name.

4:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Markets at Shrewsbury

Performance by Ni Riain School of Irish Dance

12 noon to 9 p.m. – Continental Square

Committee members will be on hand with giveaways all day and they’ll have Sprint tablets handy to take donations on the spot.
