Public Narcan Training with Bob Willis of the York/Adams Drug and Alcohol Commission

Bob Willis, from the York/Adams Drug and Alcohol Commission, will discuss the current opioid epidemic and provide training on the use of Narcan nasal spray for reversal of overdose symptoms.

The purpose of this training is to raise awareness of the Opioid epidemic in York County and train community members to respond to individuals in crisis. Mr. Willis will review risk factors, address prevention, identify symptoms of an overdose, overview actions to take in the event of an overdose, provide training on administering the Narcan nasal spray and increase awareness of treatment and recovery support in the community.
