An old Jewish baker struggles to keep his business afloat until his young Muslim apprentice drops cannabis in the dough and sends sales sky.
DOUGH is a ‘dramedy’ with a big heart, dealing with the tension between Jews and Muslims, who despite their cultural differences have many shared values. It involves a young Muslim and the unlikely friendship he develops with an older Jewish baker. The story is about how the small baker is fighting a loosing battle for survival against a corporate giant and how the young boy tries to help him save the bakery. David versus Goliath. It has laugh out loud lines that all ages will find humorous. Jonathan Pryce(the baker) and Jerome Holder(the boy) are excellent and their chemistry is so believable you will find yourself cheering them on until the end.
