Rock Band

ROCK BAND: IN THE CLASSROOM is an “activity based” music class created for the HOME SCHOOL community. It is a new kind of music class–one that emphasizes POPULAR MUSIC, and its history, as the source material.  Here we will sing, work on rhythm with homemade percussion instruments, be exposed to, and experiment, with ROCK BAND instruments (guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, percussion), play songs, write songs, arrange songs as well as recording and performing. We’ll also be learning some of the history of popular music–important innovators of the past!  NO EXPERIENCE is required! More experienced musicians are certainly welcome!
