Screening of "Class of Her Own"

The Positive Energy Arts Foundation, in collaboration with Wellspan Park presents the documentary feature “Class of Her Own.” A documentary feature by award-winning filmmaker Boaz Dvir, “Class of Her Own” tells the story of a teacher who rebels against a system that neglects many of its vulnerable students. Gloria Jean Merriex transforms into a trailblazer, using hip hop, dance, call-and-response and other innovations to propel her high-need elementary school to unprecedented excellence.
