Experience the artwork of South Western High students. They have created the art, designed the show and now they await your feedback.
Eleven South Western High students will display artwork in The Series Jan. 24-28, as part of their advanced drawing and painting class.
The work can be seen at Art Downtown, the gallery of the Hanover Area Arts Guild, 32 Carlisle St., Hanover. The exhibit will be on display during regular gallery hours, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.
The show is a chance for students to hang their own exhibit, learn the ins and outs of gallery work and experience what it’s like to have the community view your artwork, said art educator Julie Gelsinger.
A reception also is planned as part of the show. It’s set for 7-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, for family, friends and the community.
