Springettsbury Township's Saturday in the Park

Springettsbury Township’s 15^th Annual Saturday in the Park presented by White Deer Run Treatment Network will be held September 30, 2017 at the Springettsbury Township Park!  This is a fun-filled community celebration with something for everyone! Admission to the event is free. Various activities may require a small fee.

Central York Communities That Care hosts an invitational breakfast presented by White Rose Credit Union at 9:30 am to present the Spirit of Youth Awards. Beginning at 11:30 am, the Springettsbury Township 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament will get started!

The Carnival area is open from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm.  Enjoy five different inflatable attractions such as a giant slide, an obstacle course and Inline jumper. New this year will be a 250-foot zipline! There will be a variety of over 20 carnival games including inflatable skeeball and basketball. In addition, face painting, balloon animals and area businesses will have booths located in this area. Fire and Police department vehicles will be on display with onsite demonstrations. Golf Genesis, www.genesisgolf4kids.com, will have kid’s golf activities from 12:00 – 4:00 pm at the outdoor rink and in open fields.

Food Trucks will be providing food throughout the park from 12:00 – 8:00 pm.

Central York Communities that Care is sponsoring a Chicken Barbeque courtesy of Porky’s! Meals can be purchased for $8.50 from 3:00-5:00 pm in front of the concession stand.

The Amphitheater will host a variety of events, presented by Buchart Horn, including local dance team performances from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. UGO, Urban Guerilla Orchestra will perform at 6:00 pm, www.ugofunk.com.
