St. John Episcopal Church Choral Evensong and Concert

The choir of St. John Episcopal Church, 140 N. Beaver Street, York, will sing a Choral Evensong for Transfiguration Sunday, February 7, at 4 PM.  Following Evensong, there will be a short concert presented by cellist, Rachel Kauffman.  Rachel is currently the Principal Cellist of the York Symphony Orchestra.  She is a founding member of the Melodia String Quartet and the Metta Quartet.  Rachel teaches cello at York College of PA and for the YCPrep division.  A free-will offering will be received.  Following the concert, a reception will be held in the Parish Hall.  Free parking is available in the lot across the street from the church.  For more information, please contact the church at 848-1862.
