Ma & Pa Railroad Heritage Village 2016 Operating Hours

The Ma & Pa Railroad Heritage Village 2016 operating season has been announced.

The Ma & Pa Railroad Heritage Village is open every Sunday starting THIS Sunday, June 5 through September 4. The store, mill, and grain elevator will be open with costumed docents. Seven special event weekends round out the 32-day operating season. These include: Mid-Atlantic Milling Days – June 12 and 13; Made in America Tours – June 17 and 18; World War II Encampment – August 20 and 21; Railroad Heritage Day – September 24; Fall Foliage Excursions – October 9, 16, 22 and 23 and the Christmas City Express program – December 9 – 11 and 16 – 18. The charming village is also open on Labor Day, Monday, September 5.

Admission is always free to the village and buildings. Hourly motorcar train rides are $7 for adults and $5 for children. The Ma & Pa Railroad Heritage Village is located at 1258 Muddy Creek Forks Road, Airville, PA. (Geo Code: 39.808470, – 76.475649). Advance tickets for motorcar train rides can be purchased online at www.MaAndPaRailroad.com with a $1.00 handling fee. All buildings on the grounds are free.
