Vintage 1950 Armed Forces Ball in the Grand Ballroom of the Historic Yorktowne Hotel.

Armed Forces Day is celebrated annually on the third Saturday of May. It is a day to pay tribute to the men and women who serve the United States’ armed forces. The Unforgettable Band and I invite you to take a dance step back in time to May 20, 1950 when the first Armed Forces day was celebrated. Plan to dance the night away to the hits of the Big Bands and the Ballroom Dance Orchestras enjoying tunes made popular by Frank Sinatra, Eddie Gorme, Doris Day, Andy William….and more.

Doors open at 5pm with DJ Dance music. Dinner (Salad, Breast of Chicken with roasted red pepper sauce, rolls and butter, dessert, coffee/tea) from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Vegetarian available on request. Dancing to the Unforgettable Band from 6;30pm to 9:30pm.

Cost; $48.00 pp Dinner and Dance
$23.00 pp Dance Only Tickets (Available advance or at the door) /$15.00 for Student with ID

Dinner/Dance half price and Dance only ticket is free for any WWII vet attending in uniform.

Suggested Dress; Vintage 50’s Dress (hat and gloves), Suit and Tie for men (hat), Vintage or current military uniform
