A variety of techniques unique to watercolors will be taught in the six-week class led by Stanley Gilmore.
Students will be able to employ the techniques and processes of wet on wet, dry brush, spattering, color theory and other essential techniques that make watercolor unique. Projects include monochromatic painting, two-color landscape, three-color painting of a barn or old house, still-life, seascapes and a painting of personal choice using techniques acquired during class time. One- and two-point perspective, textural components and values of light and dark also will be included in the six-week class.
