Yomassage is changing the massage industry by providing the only method massage therapists can use to serve multiple clients in a single session. This is revolutionary in the massage world because it is making massage more accessible for the average consumer and allowing massage therapists to make more money.
Yomassage is a fusion of relaxing and supported restorative positions, hands on massage therapy, and mindfulness that was created by Tiffany Ryan and Katherine Parker in Portland, OR. Students hold each position for 5-10 minutes while a massage therapist performs manual massage on different parts of the body. Classes can range from 1-5 clients with 1 Yomassage therapist, and up to 10 clients with a Yomassage Supporter who assists the class. Classes last 75 minutes.
Yomassage classes are a completely luxurious experience that include a warm room with dim lighting, lots of props for ample support and comfort, and often include essential oils, warm towels, hot stones, eye pillows, and more.
