We are proud to bring back our Streets Styles Dance battle showcase.
The Educated Voices of Hip Hop signature York Soul event will kick off with its Appreciation of Hip Hop’s 50th anniversary with a Hip Hop Celebration on August 5, 2023. The full-day event celebrating all the elements of Hip Hop culture (Mc’ing, DJ, Graffiti, and Breaking) with workshops, graffiti art, a classic Hip Hop film screening, an all-styles dance battle with prizes, and a captivating M’C and DJ showcase.
This event is free to attend.
The event will include an all-styles dance battle for cash prizes and trophies. It will be judged by various guest judges tba, featuring Legendary Hip Hop Dance Pioneer Al Boogie of the Shack crew, Vinyl selection by King Uprock of the Dynasty Rockers, and hosted by Supreme aka Premo of Notorious. This event is free to attend.
Dancers Competing in All Style Battle
Dancers should register on-site, in-person between 4-5 pm. Crews are encouraged to Preregister now to guarantee participation. If capacity remains day-of event, walk-ins will be admitted on a first-come, first served basis.
1 vs 1 battle fee $15 per person
