Our 2020 theme is BE THE CHANGE. What could be more appropriate? With so many changes taking place, this virtual 5K fits right in. This year’s t-shirt will be a collectible! You’ll look back and remember this unique experience.
How does a VIRTUAL race work?
Date: April 1- 25, 2020
Register by April 25, 2020 to receive your t-shirt!
Location: Indoor or Outdoor Activity (follow the allowable activities guidelines issued by the Commonwealth of PA).
Complete the 5K (3.1 miles), 1-mile walk, or Kids Fun Run (100-yard dash) between April 1st to April 25th. Figure out how many steps it takes and SET YOUR GOAL.
It’s simple–just move! Run, walk, skip or dance in your living room, backyard or any location open to the public. Jump rope, jump on a treadmill or jump on a trampoline. Get creative and go at your own pace! All while knowing that you’re raising funds to support YWCA York’s racial justice programming for the entire year. WE CAN REALLY USE YOUR HELP, NOW MORE THAN EVER.
Put together a virtual team with friends, family and coworkers and do it LIVE on Facebook. It’s a great way to connect when you can’t be together.
