——–Bio———-

Sarah (Noble) Drinkut is a visual artist currently exploring vestiges inherited and lived that frame and inform our experience. Interplay of abstraction and natural representation used in the paintings, juxtaposition of painted forms and assemblage, along with nuance of color creates a coded personal narrative that engages the ephemeral within each work.

Sarah studied painting at Chautauqua School of Art, The New York Studio School, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, The International School of Art, Anderson University, and completed her MFA at Western Carolina University in 2006. Among the galleries she has shown her work are, Denise Bibro Gallery and The Bowery Gallery in NYC, as well as Gross McCleaf Gallery and Bridgette Mayer Gallery in Philadelphia. She previously taught classes at Pennsylvania College of Art, Logos Academy and currently lives and works with her husband and daughter in York, Pennsylvania.
