I have worked with my hands as long as I can remember. Sewing, crocheting, knitting, and using recycled materials have been petri dish of creating.
Beadwork sprang from my interest in botany. I taught myself how to bead, realizing that beadwork reflected how plant cells connect. Beading allows me to combine sewing, knitting, painting, and sculpting techniques into a unique art form that interacts with light in an amazing way.
I spend as much time as possible outside, wild mushroom hunting, and observing nature to integrate into my creativity. I love to teach beading, crocheting, knitting, spinning, dyeing, drawing, and painting.
