Bryan Wade is a native of Harrisburg Pennsylvania, two branch military veteran, award winning television producer, York College alumnus and former K-8 educator. Keystones Oral Histories was created in 2017 in Dauphin County Pennsylvania.

This multi-dimensional educational approach which focuses on York County regional oral histories with K-12 curriculum for schools is unique in the United States. Additionally, Bryan set out to collaborate with local organizations, historians and researchers which included York Colleges Center for Community Engagement and the York Historical Society Museum, historians Jeff Kirkland, Jim Mclure, Scott Mingus, researchers Samantha Dorm, Myra DeShields-Molton and artist Ophelia Chambliss. Dr. Sherry Washington designed the curriculum which is aligned to National Common Core and Pennsylvania Common Core Social Studies standards.

In the spring of 2020 after meeting with Terry Gendron Director of the York County Veterans Affairs, Mr. Wade began planning and initiated the first of its kind oral history documentary and companion curriculum which chronicled the lives of African American servicemen and women who served from the Civil War throughout various military eras in United States history. Keystones plans to create a comprehensive 13 documentary series over the next several years. This documentary aired on PBS regional station WITF on July 2, 2021.
