Monday, June 18, beginning at 6:00 pm DreamWrights opens auditions for Becky’s New Car, a delightful comedy written by Steven Dietz.  This “middle of the road” comedy highlights Becky Foster’s journey through middle age, middle management and a middling marriage. The tables turn one night when Becky stumbles upon the opportunity for a new life. You get to ride shotgun with fellow audience members down the road not taken.

Auditions for this production are open to ages 19 – adult. No prior experience is necessary. Those auditioning are encouraged to make an audition appointment but walk-ins are welcome. Audition preparation materials and information on the process can be found online at www.dreamwrights.org. Audition appointments can be scheduled beginning on May 14 for DreamWrights’ members and on June 1 for the general public.

Becky’s New Car runs August 2, 3, 4, 10 and 11 at 7:00 pm, and August 5 and 12 at 3:00 pm. Tickets may be purchased online at www.dreamwrights.org or by calling 717-848-8623. Advance seats cost $11 for general, $15 for reserved. General admission seats at the door cost $13.
