Using a variety of items in artwork just gives it that extra something. Young artists will learn about mixed media artwork while making masterpieces following the theme of the day: In the Garden, Under the Sea, Going on Safari, and Digging up Egypt. We’ll talk a little about what mixed media means, brainstorm on what would make good compositions, how to use thumbnails to plan out artwork and what could be used to bring out the texture of the items being depicted. This is an art class that will encourage outside-the-box thinking! We look forward to encouraging your little artist to think big!
