Let our music surround you as we remember the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, reminding us that out of the turmoil we CELEBRATE PEACE.

Pennsylvania State University Glee Club – Dr. Christopher Kiver, Director

Founded in 1888, the Pennsylvania State University Glee Club is currently in its 129th year of operation.  The Glee Club has performed across the United States and around the world including state and divisional conventions of NAfME and ACDA. Recent highlights include a tour of Iceland in 2016, and performances at Heinz Hall, Pittsburgh and the Alice Tully Hall in the Lincoln Center, New York. The Glee Club has hosted ‘Men of Song,’ an annual one-day festival for middle and high school singers with changing and changed voices since 2012. The oldest student organization at Penn State, the Glee Club’s members hail from all colleges and schools on the University Park campus.

York County Senior Honors Choir – Randy Yoder, Director / Michal Buchanan, Asst. Director

York County Senior Honors Choir is comprised of select singers in grades 10 – 12 from 20 public and private school districts, homeschools, churches, and voice studios of York County, PA, receiving accolades for its fine performances in a variety of venues each year, including the United Nations, Cathedral of St. John the Divine, and Carnegie Hall in New York, Canterbury Cathedral and the York Minster in England, Washington National Cathedral, and at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore. The group has performed with York Youth Symphony Orchestra, River City Brass, and Deer Creek Chorale.

More than just a choir, this unique collaboration with choral directors, private music instructors, and families from all over York County gives students the opportunity to reach out and share their talents with others who have the same love of music and level of dedication in a non-competitive environment, developing an appreciation for community involvement that extends far beyond their school years.

Concorde Vocal Ensemble, comprised of 30 members chosen by audition from York County Senior Honors Choir, was chosen from a nationwide competition as one of two high school choirs to perform in the National High School Choral Festival at Carnegie Hall and was chosen to sing for the ACDA Eastern Division Conference in Providence, RI.  The members of Concorde represent their schools as some of the best young musicians in York County, PA.
