The Ma & Pa Railroad Heritage Village at Muddy Creek Forks presents a Civil War Cavalry weekend Saturday, October 6 – 10:00 am – 5:00 pm and Sunday, October 7 – 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Union and Confederate cavalry will be participating in skirmishes at Muddy Creek Forks. Twenty to thirty mounted cavalrymen are expected to be on hand. Due to the nature of this event, there is no visitor parking or visitor drop off at Muddy Creek Forks. All event parking is at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 48 Muddy Creek Forks Road, Brogue, Pa. with shuttle bus transportation approximately every 10 minutes to the Ma & Pa Heritage Village site.
Admission for the Cavalry Weekend is $12 for adults and $10 for children, which includes parking and shuttle bus. This is payable at the Brogue parking area where there will be a tent outside of the church for ticket sales. Sales will end both days at 3:00 P.M.
