Throughout the year, the Friends of the Library participates in several fundraising activities.  Our book sales not only promote literacy, but they raise funds to support the library and it’s mission. The money raised stays in the community and is used to support many different programs, organizations and initiatives, including:

• Summer Reading Programs
• One Book One Community
• Major Fundraiser: Taste of the Valley
• Donations to the Glen Rock Fire Company
• Scholarships
• Our Library’s Board of Directors
• Librarians Professional Development
• Refreshments for library sponsored activities
• Purchasing supplies for the library
